Took me almost a decade to stop tracking my most painful ex. And yes, I wanted him humbled. I wanted to see his name in the police blotter. I wanted to hear all his teeth had fallen out as well as his hair. Everybody wants to think our ex couldn't possibly succeed without us. ~LA

... I still do it, too, though I haven't ever found anything. Dennis was an ass and my life would have sucked if we'd ended up married; I'm sure of that. But the desire to know his life turned out sucky persists.

What's even more pathetic than my not updating my own diary? Checking out my friend's ex-boyfriend's diary, that's what! Was going to call you, but got sucked into the usual maelstrom of crap. Hope all is well.

Aaaiiiiiiiiii! I just got sucked into your ex-boyfriend's purple maelstrom of crap. It's Hemingway on MDMA. Pitiful.
