I know this will sound unkind, but ... oh well.

I just heard that my ex's marriage broke up recently after about five years, and I am suffused with a warm, happy feeling. I'm smiling, my toes are tapping, everything. I called Duff and squealed, "We won!" but he only chuckled and insisted that he wasn't aware we were in competition. Well, sure, we weren't, but I can't help but keep track of these things. It's my nature.

I'd write more on this subject, but I'm still (!) on deadline. One of these days I'll come back around to it, I'm sure.
