next ...as seen on eBay... Kingfisher Illustrated History of the World I have "The Kingfisher Illustrated History of the World," foreword by Magnus Magnusson, up for auction. This is the OOP (Out-of-print) history book recommended by Jessie Wise and Susan Wise Bauer in "The Well-Trained Mind." The copyright is 1992 and the ISBN number is 1-85697-862-1. It is a 761 page (with index) hardcover in literally new condition. There is a small indent on the front cover, like something heavy was sat on it, but it can only be seen when you slant it up to the light. There are eight pages within the first 25 pages where I have neatly blacked out brief references to evolution with permanent marker. It does not show through to the next page.The inside pages are clean with no other marks or highlighting. The binding is tight; there are no bent pages or musty smell. It comes from a non-smoking home. Winning bidder pays $8.00 for shipping/handling via USPS insured media mail within the United States.
