In all likelihood, you could handle my life and two more like it. So why can't I? I realized last night that foreboding about the coming week was creeping up on me like kudzu vines. A week that would seem like a non-week to most people. Here's the line-up:

Monday: Car to mechanic; borrow unreliable station wagon from Diane (who bought a second car, an older Mustang, recently). Felony to jazz dance lesson 3:45-4:40. Criminy to friend's house during lesson. Watch new Ab Fab ep. Must clean house for party on Saturday!

Tuesday: Frank's party is tonight or tomorrow. Watch 24. Get all Quark materials to Birgit via Duff (am coward with no car). Must clean house for party on Saturday!

Wednesday: Frank's party? Sew on remaining Girl Scout patches and teach girls all Christmas songbook songs (oops). Watch Enterprise. Must clean house for party on Saturday!

Thursday: Girl Scouts Christmas caroling at nursing home (aarrggghh!). Watch Survivor. Must clean house for party on Saturday!

Saturday: 9 a.m. Jasper ballet lesson. 9:45 a.m. Girls' ballet lesson. 10:45 a.m. Second girls' ballet lesson. Party HERE at 5 p.m. Three other couples plus their kids for a total of 8 adults and 11 kids. Theme (not my idea!) is Christmas in New Orleans. Must cook Cajun food for huge crowd with no prior experience. If crisis occurs, switch to fried chicken. Set up VCR upstairs?

Sunday: Sleep in.

Obviously, I can ditch the TV shows if worst comes to worst. But the rest is harder to get rid of, like the difference between tartar and plaque.
