If you could smoke without getting sick, I would be doing it. Despite the smell and the dirty keyboards and the hot ashes dropping unexpectedly into your crotch. I just sat here thinking, What should I do now? and somewhere in the deepest part of me I heard the answer: have a cigarette. It's been years since I smoked and I don't get cravings very often, but I sure did enjoy smoking. I loved it. I've never found anything that could replace it. Sometimes I think if I ever get diagnosed with some incurable disease, I am sure as hell going to take up smoking again.
